THE PROBLEM

Radiology clinics often face scheduling delays and patient prep errors due to inconsistent training and unclear procedures. New schedulers may feel overwhelmed, and experienced staff can struggle without a clear reference point. This project idea was developed to help standardize the process and reduce errors by creating engaging, accessible training materials.

THE SOLUTION

To address this, I proposed a combined solution: a quick-reference job aid and a short, animated explainer video. The job aid simplifies scheduling into five essential steps, using visual icons and memorable phrases. The video enhances the experience with a presenter-led walkthrough, making it easier for staff to retain key procedures. This approach offers a scalable training asset for clinics of all sizes.

MY PROCESS

I started by identifying the five key steps schedulers must follow to ensure accurate and efficient radiology appointments. I then designed a visually engaging job aid using icons and simplified language, followed by scripting and producing a short Vyond video to walk through each step in a clear, conversational format.
